This one's a bit of an oddity — you can see it all over historical pictures from the 80s and onward attached to the R4 (Galil) but troopies often unslung the rifle completely to shoot it, only using it as a means to carry the rifle.
We gave it a shot with a more "modern technique" by adjusting the sling to be longer — shooting while the rifle is slung is more common nowadays, but we had mixed results with this one, especially considering the lack of quick adjustment.
However, for the LARP, and certainly for carrying your trusty Galil, it'll certainly do the job. It could still be handy on a large majority of marksman rifles & other classic military firearms that didn't necessitate shooting while slung in their manual of arms.

Condition
