Eagle Industries is one of the most prolific manufacturers when it comes to anything MOLLE. From pouches to plate carriers to packs, countless examples of their products have been fielded and abused by special forces such as Navy SEALs for decades, and many of their designs remain ever-relevant and currently deployed. They're prominently known for their no-BS pouch design that scraps gimmicks in favor for durability and no-nonsense usage, and it's for that reason that we like their stuff a lot.

Magazine Compatibility

This pouch is made specifically for 20 round aluminum SR-25 magazines. For the non-knights-enlightened, these are essentially 7.62x51 AR-10 platform rifles, so these pouches will work directly with aluminum magazines for the AR-10 & SCAR-17 without issue. We've also found USGI style 30 round STANAG Magazines will fit as well (two per mag cell). If you're an M14/M1A/G3/FAL/other .308 battle rifle nerd, many of those 20 round magazines will also fit.

The back of the pouch features PALS compatible webbing with built-in straps so you won't have to spend more money for WTF straps or MALICE clips.  The attachment straps also snap shut for a rugged & secure fit.

7.62 big boy mags

They fit your m14 mags you bought so you could prove how much more of a big boy you are than those 5.56 losers. They work, the MOLLE works. It holds the things that hold bullets.

I have four theyve all come in great condition some variations in fabric tone but no rips/tears.

Works for G3 and CETME mags, to an extent.

These double map pouches will technically fit 2 G3 mags in each side, but with all the ridges and pokey bits they don't slide past each other well enough to be practical for more than 1 in each side. But with 1 mag in each side they work great.

CETME mags for all practical purposes only fit 1 on each side, and even then their curve causes them to bind up in the straight pouches making mag extraction somewhat difficult. ("for all practical purposes" I mean can you shove 2 in? Yes, if you try hard enough. Can you get them back out again? Eventually.)

7.62x39mm 30 round AK magazines fit 2 but are too long, although 20 rounders would fit and close. AR-15 30 round magazines fit in twos perfectly fine.

I won't take off stars for any of this though, they weren't designed with either of these guns in mind. They are what they are However, I did want you guys who have these to know how well the pouches work for them.

Good Budget BR Mag carrier

Pretty high quality, not too funky and came in a sliced open plastic Not!Ziplock. Was actually able to fit 2 FAL Mags, the thermold kind, in each pouch so you could theoretically be 80% of the way to a full combat load with just this pouch system on your belt. I'm pairing this with a Haley Heavy so a total of 8 +1 in the gun is pretty solid for a battle rifle kit.

They're .308 mag carriers.

They're sturdy, they're surplus, and they're a good deal.

What else do you want?
