When the British SAS requested a lightweight yet warm garment, Arktis developed the A212 Reinforced SWAT Shirt. This state-of-the-art garment was designed with the harshest environments in mind. Its minirip outer layer is crafted to provide both protection from the elements while also providing optimal durability, thanks to an abundance of reinforced PU, strategically placed in high abrasion areas such as the shoulders and elbows.
The A212's sides have adjustable zippers for easy donning/doffing and to improve ventilation. The zippered sides are also designed to accommodate holsters to make sure your sidearm is always easily accessible and ready to go. Additional features of this cutting-edge garment include a micro fleece liner, a front half zip, long fleece “monkey’s paw” cuffs complete with thumbholes that can be easily rolled or folded away, and a longer back to keep you warm and cozy.
