Airmen of all sorts keep basic survival supplies on them in case things come crashing down. Many depend on the 'Air Warrior' system, a lightweight MOLLE survival vest. This is the "First aid platform" made to attach to the vest in a specialized pocket, but unintentionally it seems like they also made a fantastic IFAK organizer.

One of the most crucial parts about an IFAK is how it's organized — if you know where the right supplies are, those precious seconds could literally mean life and death. If a sheet of standard office paper (8.5 x 11") fits in your every day carry pack, you can use the first aid platform as a quick and organized way to carry an IFAK on your person without any obviously-tactical looks.

Please note this platform does not come with any IFAK components. You will need to purchase those on your own. We highly recommend North American Rescue's standard IFAK kit.

Easily carrying the contents of a standard IFAK with convenient elastic retention, the result is a slim package that'll slide right into a hydration carrier partition or interior pocket of your pack. A rear mesh compartment is the perfect size for chest seals, shears & other medications, and two smaller loops on the front secure smaller items like gloves or small duct tape rolls.

For airmen, it features tiedown strings to keep everything from flying out, but are entirely optional as the elastic retention keeps things in place well enough on it's own. It's a fantastic way to keep crucial supplies organized either way, and will be right at home in packs of nearly any size.

Exactly what you think it is.

TLDR: this is good for edc, use solid containers that fit in the straps, the back can fit range notes and has a little give to it. The bottom horizontal straps aren't sewn to the vertical ones, the top straps in pairs of two are separated and can hold two matchboxes each.

The carrier makes for a great in bag/pouch "EDC" carrier, this was pretty much it's purpose in general. Putting gear in it can be a little awkward, especially if you're using a pouch or fabric container like I was, It can fit bulkier pouches but you will have trouble pulling them out but if you put something like a sock over it'll probably slip out just fine. If you don't want to be absolutely psychotic AND smell like feet (suit yourself) then stick to a solid container that can fit within its straps. All the straps are elastic, the top straps have a strap going across and under, this will comfortably hold a matchbox and a small altoids tin. the strap in the middle however does NOT have a bottom support strap, rather the top strap is separated into two sides, each side will have a loop strap on the underside (non-elastic) and a strap on the topside with a small hook patch (elastic), due to this setup being in the middle it's a bit awkward to find something to put there but it'll fit a single matchbox fine if hooked as loose as possible, if put as tight as possible it'll fit a single glowstick. For the rest of the straps there is a supporting top strap and bottom strap the bottom strap isn't sewn to the…
