Military-spec functionality with a touch of el matador. Made in Spain, it's an extremely high quality sweater fit for military officers that would tempt the fashion industry to slap a brand on it and charge you something in the triple digits.

The aquamarine colorway makes for a great fall and winter look, and the wool mix makes for a nice and cozy fit. Like other commando sweaters, it features elbow and shoulder reinforcements, epaulets, and the all-important pen pockets.

Sizing

We've sized these sweaters according to US shirt sizes, but given the cuff and waist hem adjustment these are pretty lenient on sizing. Our model pictured is 6'0" with a chest size of 38", and wore a size Large, and Medium comfortably.

Condition

These sweaters are in unissued condition, with no signs of use.

Truly excellent.

There isn't a whole lot to say about this sweater. It fits great and is comfortable. Some other reviewers noted that it felt scratchy, but I find it quite cozy and not scratchy at all. As noted in the description, these sweaters are basically brand new, unissued. I find it mildly odd that the tag has evidently been cut off, but aside from that, this sweater is in perfect condition. I'll enjoy wearing this on cool days and layering it with a nice coat (the Austrian M65, for example) on cold days.

It's a nice sweater.

It feels well made, nice, comfortable. Makes a great underlayer for when wearing a jacket. I believe this sweater is what the Spanish gendarmes use (Guardia Civil)?

Warm, snazzy and a little sexy

Bought mine looking for a warm sweater to wear this winter season. Came quickly and was a great find for $40. Unique, thick and comfortable. A little tight around the chest but other than that it's a great sweater.

Cozy

Cozy af sweater. Not as scratchy as the ZOLL turtleneck and almost as stylish. Nice for when the Florida weather turns cold for the one week of the year.
