NSN MARCH™ IFAK Resupply Kit
NSN MARCH™ IFAK Resupply Kit
NSN MARCH™ IFAK Resupply Kit

Our military surplus MARCH IFAKs come in original factory packaging, with 2022 or 2023 expiration dates. Designed to resupply a standard US military IFAK, every sterile component in is individually sealed---the entire kit is then re-bagged in a plastic outer liner for shipping and handling.

When you receive your IFAK we recommend opening this sacrificial outer liner and familiarizing yourself with the contents. An IFAK is a great thing to have, but it is absolutely useless unless you can identify and correctly use its contents. Don't worry, breaking the vacuum seal on the outer bag doesn't effect shelf life. These resupply kits are designed to be opened and distributed into your gear as necessary---

And it bears repeating, you really should take the time to familiarize yourself with every component in the IFAK. It is an amazing tool for gunshot wounds and bleeding injuries, but only if properly used. While a tourniquet is essential for completing your GarandThumb airsoft cosplay---it is even more essential when you have under a minute of usable consciousness to apply one to your femoral artery.

TL;DR Don't be a fool, unwrap (and learn) your tools.

Use Tips

  • Take the tourniquet and gloves out of the plastic. Re-roll the gloves so they can be unwrapped in a split second instead of spending time unwrapping plastic. Nothing is worse than dying while trying to open plastic with bloody fingers... Or one hand.
  • Read the Quick Start Guide and familiarize yourself with the actions. It takes up a lot of valuable space in an IFAK bag that could be used for more important things.
  • Don't pre-fill out the TCCC Card. Putting your name and info on your card can lead to confusion if you end up having to use it for someone else.
  • Consider adding a second tourniquet to your kit. Always consider having one for yourself, and a spare for people around you.
  • Keeping a tourniquet ready and in an easy to reach area means you don't have fumble with zippers.
  • Practice, practice, practice! Having the tools won't help you if you don't know how to use them. Combat Medical provides great guides and videos on the use of each component.

Note: The components of the MARCH IFAK are more space efficient than comparable IFAKs from other manufacturers. This gives MARCH a key advantage over the popular NAR IFAK which has significantly more bulk. That said, we recommend you replace the included TMT tourniquet with a NAR Combat Application Tourniquet. Although it is military certified, we found the TMT tourniquet to be inferior to the CAT. Similarly, the included heat sealed black gloves are uncomfortable, difficult to don, and hide blood and body fluids during exams. We recommend replacing them with high quality blue or brown nitrite gloves such as the NAR Bear Claw.

We intend to offer a bundle including a CAT and two (2) pairs of quality medical gloves in the near future.

      Everything you could need

I work in a public school. Let's be realistic, it's possible this might see some use.

Add advantage scissors to my setup, after opening the package and familiarizing myself with its contents.

A resupply for the tougher emergency

When your First Aid kit isn't enough, give it an upgrade with this. It will help stop more terrifying wounds and boo-boos that your mother can't kiss. It comes with everything necessary, but I seriously recommend to get rid of the gloves. They're black and useless, and vacuum sealed. Grab a pair of blue or white gloves, and pack them yourself!

The tourniquet isn't bad at all, and is useful, but a bit on the bigger side and not as tight as the CAT7 bought separately. If done right, this CAT can be just as effective as the other one on this site, but it requires practicing.

As a final comment, this product is as useful as you are. However many you buy always buy a spare. Practice applying the spare to a friend or family member so you know how to use it!
