Good In The Right Circumstances

Gotta say, coming from using my States-side DoD issue socks, these feel and fit much more like dress socks than boot socks.

They slide a bit and don't quite stay where they should so I regularly feel my toes and heel out of place in my boot after pushing heavy things or other exertions. They don't seem to offer much comfort when I'm working on base (airwinger MOS) and wearing my issued boots or in my civilian job (technical field) wearing my shorter civie boots.

Granted, regular DoD socks don't help much either AND these both A: Do the job - and B: don't fall apart. However, I can't recommend these for anyone who needs to move around a ton. Probably a different story for people who need to wear heavier stuff as a uniform but don't expect to be moving around a ton. Their silky feel would lend well to that.

The long boi socks you didn’t know you wanted.

First time wearing them out the guys said they brought out the inner programmer in me but they sure do keep the legs warm to above the knees so no complaints here.
