Issued to the Bundeswehr (the unified armed forces of Germany), this parka sports Flecktarn, a camouflage developed from a long line of ancestors dating back to just before WWII.
Many agree Flecktarn is one of the best camouflages to wear both in and out of the field (unless you live in Germany).
Fleck parkas are about more than just looks — they feature water resistant fabric, plenty of pocket space, and a cut built for retaining agility while keeping yourself covered. There are even zippers at the armpits for cooling off the body or warming your hands. The Germans have well-mastered parka engineering.
If there was a degree in Flecktarn, we’d hang ours on the wall. Warehouse Ivan spent hours sorting, studying, analyzing, and researching the fleck-info-barren internet. He has found the way — the true method to sort Flecktarn surplus — and the most comprehensive understanding he is aware of (fun infographic in process).

A little worn but good
Stitching along seams are starting to fray a little; however it is surplus and showed up better than described

Great fit and kit
This parka is one of the greats. The flecktarn camo is really great to wear about as well. I enjoy the stored smell that comes with it. Also, I thought I would be an 04 or 05 size, but got a 06 because that’s what was in stock. I’m 5’7” and a husky 224 lbs. The 06 fits me perfectly. Also Ivan and the krew at Kommando rock!

Feeling aesthetic as ever and ready to Boogey
Came out of the box smelling just how I envisioned: glorious. I had a costumer service rep prescribe me a size based off a brief description of my physical stature and they did phenomenal. Fits great , little short around arms but that’s just my long arms. Perfect condition pre 2005 . Zippers are perfect , no missing buttons . This one appears new as ever. Perfect chest room enough that I could fit my plate carrier underneath it snuggly and still move tactically. Not to mention this jacket is just sexy as hell.
