GRADE 2 AUSTRIAN MOUNTAIN ISSUE ANZUG 03 BDU PANTS

Condition:

Grade 2 products may have blemishes of all kinds including: repairs or patches, scuffs, small tears or pilling, paint or ink stains, or missing buttons. Grade 2 items do not have any damage which would compromise the field readiness of the garment like broken main zippers, large tears, or other things of that nature.

We generally classify Grade 2 items between "Battledamage" and our regular stock, in practical terms this usually means minor cosmetic imperfections. Please note that all sales are final on both Grade 2 and Battledamaged items.

Austria's mountainous terrain forces the Austrian military to collaborate extensively with the hiking and outdoors industry. The Austrian mountain pant is one such collaboration, and is essentially a military "trekking pant."

Looser and lighter than the standard issue M75, the mountain issue pant is designed to allow nearly unrestricted movement in difficult terrain. Our batch comes from multiple manufacturers, and is split between ripstop and non ripstop models.

Both fabric options are comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying; the choice between them is largely aesthetic. The ripstop version is slightly thinner and has a visible "checkering" characteristic of its construction.

Specs:

  • Two large, zippered cargo pockets with cover flaps
  • Two front slash pockets
  • Actual zipper fly
  • Fabric is doubled at knees
  • Built-in blousing ties at bottom of pant leg
  • Fluent in German

Comfortable and OD green

They're comfortable, have gigantic pockets and feature built in suspender holders for the ultimate in sex appeal. Not sure you could ask for more in a pair of military issue pants. The front pockets are large enough that you could probably pocket carry a full-size 1911 if you want to be that embarrassing. Your phone isn't going to fall out and you can put it on top of you wallet for easier access since these have no back pockets. Cargo pockets have hidden internal pockets with Velcro and the main compartment is also quite large. Zipper pulls require both hands to operate but they're in great shape.

I only needed to reinforce a button on these to make them fully functional. It was barely hanging on but now I'm confident that these will live on for years. The belt loops fit a thick 1.5" gun belt very well. My pair was made in 2010 and seems to have gotten some use in the sun as they're a few shades lighter than my 2005 issued jacket. Look awesome tho.

I'm 5'10 and 165lbs and the 96-100 V-VI pants are a perfect fit especially if you CC IWB.
