KommandoStore is pleased to bring you the best deal in Generation 3 night vision you will find online. Our PVS-7D goggles are built from new Nivisys parts kits and surplus Milspec intensifier tubes. Known as Gen 3+ the intensifiers we’re using are thin-filmed and autogated. This results in superior light transmission and a longer 15,000-hour operating life compared to regular Gen 3 technology (~10,000 hours). Our tubes will also outperform most civilian spec Gen 3+, with a comparatively higher resolution and light sensitivity.

Each pair of goggles is assembled, adjusted, nitrogen purged, and tested on Nivisys' production line. They are packed and shipped like any new pair — fully insured, in tamper-evident boxes, with signature delivery. They are also warrantied like new; both the intensifier tube (90 days) and parts kit (1 year) are covered against failure. The only real difference is in the tubes themselves. Retired from training sets, our intensifier tubes may show some normal signs of use.

As an intensifier tube is used, minor artifacts develop as the phosphorus ages. While our tubes are in exceptionally good condition, they are not flawless. Each kit will ship with images and a memo describing any and all visual artifacts; these are visible through the tube as “dead pixels” or small areas of blur around the periphery of the image.

Condition Guide

  • Military Spec:

Light amplification and resolution meets or exceeds the strictest military specifications. These tubes have minor to no visible artifacts and have seen little use. Light transmission and resolution are on par with new Military Spec Gen 3+ tubes.

  • Commercial Spec:

Light amplification and resolution are comparable to Gen 3+ civilian tubes. These tubes are in overall excellent condition but have been used enough such that light transmission and resolution are on par with new Commercial Spec Gen 3+ image intensifiers.

Note that for both Military and Commercial spec tubes the vast majority of the 15,000-hour service life remains. All tubes were screened by Nivisys to confirm this. Both conditions are in excellent shape and will vastly outperform any other NVG at their price-point.

Looks and feels new

The image is about as clear as it can get. Not perfect, but that's a limitation of night vision tech and seeing through a digital image rather than your own eyes. Is a tad expensive, but a very interesting tool.

Outstanding image

Sprung for the mil-spec version and they are pretty amazing. These guys made a pretty informative video explaining the different generations of NV too. Totally worth a watch. I don't even have a legitimate use case for these. They are pretty F'ing cool though and I just wanted them. Very clear image, barely any artifacts.
