The Norwegians used this pack for hiking up and down fjords; I can tell you from experience, that kind of leg workout demands a rock solid rucksack. While not ""lightweight"" by modern wunderpack standards, this pack definitely fits the bill. Extremely durable heavyweight canvas and a bombproof frame adds up to something that will last a very long time. With proper care (e.g. treating the canvas, and waxing the leather) it will outlive your youth.

Great/Collector's: Used like new, minor evidence of use
Good: Cosmetic wear, decent signs of use.

Beefy, lovely, but hard to use in a hurry

Athis lovely pack can hold the entire lineup of modern video game consoles, plus accessories, and still have room left for fuel. if it happens to be missing belts (mine unfortunately was) they can easily be substituted with paracord or other belts no problem. you can easily ruck with this, but fat users need to drop pounds before they can ruck with it- the bar at the bottom can give you friction sores.
