Good System for a Good Price

I got this because Strichtarn is cool, and it was relatively inexpensive. The gear all came in great condition, with no signs of wear at all. The system comes almost completely disassembled, with the pouch, belt, and pack all unattached from the suspenders. After some trial and error with attaching the belt (Pic of Product is incorrect reference; You loop the straps under the belt and hook the rings onto the metal clips), I got everything set up. It’s a very flexible and comfortable belt system, and once you buy a second mag pouch for the other side, it’s a balanced setup (or just throw a bayonet and E-tool on, if you have them).

Pros:

- Low Cost

- Flexible

- Adjustable (6’4, 195 lbs)

- NOS Condition

- Good Capacity (4 mags per pouch, ammo can+more in backpack)

- Smells like a lovely military warehouse

Cons (Mostly just small gripes, nothing major):

- Fused ends of suspenders and stuff can make small cuts on your hands if you roughly handle it, stiff due to age and lack of use (will soften over time)

- Some assembly required, so put some time aside to put it together and adjust it

In short, buy this. I’ve already ordered a second with a Canvas pack instead if a weatherproof one, and I don’t regret the purchase yet. Cheers
