Normally we poke fun at any EU police uniforms, but these shirts are actually quite the lookers. ASVP, or Agent de Surveillance de la Voie Publique, is the French equivalent to a US Community Service Officer (CSO) or British Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). While this would usually stray as far away from "cool" as you'd possibly think, the French have a thing for making all of their clothing look good no matter the purpose.

Isolating them from their original purpose, these are attractive and comfortable summer polo shirts with a few extra oddities.

There's a hook and loop patch area on the left shoulder, a narrow & deep pocket for pens on the left breast, and the sleeves have polyester cuffs for a more refined and professional look. Printed on the front and back are "ASVP" in non-reflective white screen print, and a red trio of stripes encircles the shirt under armpits.

Everywhere I go people think I'm some kind of official
