This is not your average surplus. This is not the parka you see on a rack at Ragstock because they think its a quaint little piece they found in Germany.
This is the Austrian Gore-Tex Hardshell. Built for the harshest heights of the alps, and torrential downpour in the Jungle.
This is seriously high tech. This is the shell everyone at KommandoStore has in their trunk. It's the good stuff, designed and produced under contract by a high-end Austrian ski-wear company.
The napoleon Pockets are extremely large for all of your things to be conveniently stored. Phone, wallet, keys, and also large enough to comfortably hold another piece of Austrian engineering without any majorly suspicious shapes bulging out.
This page should be renamed “Arc'teryx LEAF for 90% off.” We'd probably be sued into the ground by their legal team, but we wouldn't be wrong. You won't have as many fancy sleeve options or secret zippers, but if you want one hell of a Gore-Tex shell, the Austrians made it for you and it's here (and my god is that OD Gore-Tex sexy).

Grade 2 products may have blemishes of all kinds including repairs, patches, scuffs, small tears or pilling, paint or ink stains, and missing hardware. Grade 2 items do not have any damage that would compromise the field-readiness of the garment like broken main zippers, large tears, or other things of that nature.
We generally classify Grade 2 items between "Battle-Damaged" and our regular stock. In practical terms, this usually means minor cosmetic imperfections. Please note that all sales are final on both Grade 2 and Battle-Damaged items.

Great Jacket
Seems to be in good shape, even for a grade 2. Only thing I have found missing are a couple drawstrings. No stains or blemishes. Strong velcro on pockets and storm flap. I just wish I looked as good as Ivan does in the sizing pics.
