In the tactical community, 'MSA Paraclete' is a company that when responsible for tactical gear tends to get hardcore collectors frothing at the mouth. But why?
Paraclete is legendary among a few other companies in the late 90s that really solidified what the next decade of armor carrying vests & other PALS covered equipment was going to be. Bought by Mine Safety Appliances Co. or MSA in 2006, and then sold to Protective Products Enterprises, Paraclete shared the same roof with companies like Point Blank and PACA Body Armor, all of which got their fame for being used by Tier 1 special forces units such as CAG (Delta Force) and the SAS (Special Air Service).
TL;DR, All the cool guys used Paraclete gear. And kit cloner nerds go absolutely ape when they can get their hands on it.
But esoteric tacticool lore aside, they also made some pretty darn good gear too. All the pouches are simple & well thought out designs that still hold up today. Elastic retention, Big grab-tabs, and no complicated Velcro inserts makes these a great option for someone looking for simplicity in their gear.
It's all backed up by Cordura nylon and robust stitching too - so even if you're actually picking one up to use instead of collect, It'll hold up for years.
Condition
Pouches are in excellent condition with minimal to no signs of wear. No holes, tears, rips, stasins, or markings are present.
