Like their long sleeved brothers, the SADF short sleeve shirts are a great companion in and out of town; the Nutria Brown cotton-polyester fabric blend wears very hard, hides dirt and grime, and excels at keeping the sun at bay. Based on the info printed on the tags, these shirts are from the very last years of the Border War (1990's). This may explain why they were never issued, and are still in their original packaging.

Each shirt has 2 pockets with box pleats, perfect for storing small items like papers, tissues, and pens.  The pocket buttons will are protected from snagging on vegetation or loose gear by design (which is quite handy.)

  • 80/20 cotton/poly blend.

  • “Nutria Brown” color goes well with Coyote Brown gear.

  • Five button button-down shirt.

  • Two spare buttons sewn to the bottom right inside.

  • Two button secured front pockets.

  • Shoulder passants for Epaulettes , rank tabs, or pack straps.

  • Loop at neck for hanging and carrying shirt by fingers.

Note that the measurements are that of the clothing itself. They are not measurements of the user.

Size Chest Length of Back Inseam
Medium 42" 31.5"
Large 46" 33"
Extra Large 51" 34"

All shirts are unissued and still in the original plastic packaging

Ordered this shirt for normal everyday wear and it is very nice in terms of quality. I do have to say it is a little darker than shown in the picture though.

I ordered several and I love these things. Great for all around wear and doing work outside. Look straight outta the bush with the matching boonie. The material is surprisingly durable while retaining comfiness.

Size is true to the measurements - I normally wear large shirts but ordered the medium and it fits perfectly.

Beware wearing brown short shorts with these lest you be mistaken for the UPS man.
