The Hound Wolf Jacket, featured in Resident Evil 8, is now our latest venture into making tangible gear from the digital realm...

We are currently deep in the prototyping & design phase of the project The goal is to produce a clone that not only looks as good as it does in game but also can be reliably used with a combat belt and plate carrier. The same exact way the Hound Wolf guys run it.
It goes without saying the Resident Evil series is a massive cultural phenomenon and multibillion dollar franchise. You don’t exactly get 10 mainline games and a bunch of movies without a successful IP.
In a fan-favorite sequence in the 8th entry, an elite task force known as the Hound Wolf squad is deployed to take down an immortal cult leader, dismantle its moldy Lycan followers, and extract the protagonist Ethan and his kidnapped infant daughter.
For guys who like tactical gear, the Hound Wolf squad stole the show with their classic “plainclothes operator” kits, crazy weapons, quad-nods, and of course the iconic jacket giving them a truly wolf-like appearance.

It’s an undeniably kickass look, and we’re no strangers to bringing objects from games to life, so this is the perfect candidate for what we can make next.
Kommandostore has always been community-driven. Projects like SMERSH, Fort Defender 2, and of course our recent Spetsnaz Urban Gorka being almost entirely inspired by our audience.
But credit where credit is due, BlueJeanOperator and his community challenged us to make this jacket in the first place. That’s a great excuse to do something from our favorite sequence of one of our personal favorite games.
We tend to have a lot of passion in common with you guys, whether it’s the gear we use or the games we play. When we share the same ideas, we know that it’s definitely something worth pursuing.
But we don’t want your participation to stop at mere suggestions. Just like our Gorka project, we’re going to have a public project tracker and post updates here so you guys can follow along as we build this parka from the ground up.

You’ll be hearing a lot more about this project in the near future. We’re currently aiming to have the Hound Wolf Jacket ready to ship by the end of this year. Sign up for the special interest list on the project tracker to keep up to date as we develop the jacket.
For now, we’ll see you in the next update...
