The Arktis Rainshield Waterproof Coat: a perfect blend of functionality and style. Designed to meet the demands of the harsh outdoors, this packable and lightweight raincoat provides superior wet-weather protection while also being durable and easy to carry. The coat is designed to be worn underneath the B110 combat smock for optimal durability, but it can also be used independently as a lightweight raincoat.

The Rainshield is the ultimate lightweight and packable raincoat that provides maximum protection against the rain and wind. This raincoat encompasses the latest waterproof technology, making it a perfect combination of our waterproof smocks and the lightweight properties of the Stowaway shirt. The coat is made with a durable nylon DWR Minirip outer layer and features taped seams and a 100% waterproof drop liner that keeps you dry even in heavy downpours.

The two side pockets and single chest pocket are complete with waterproof zippers and seams. An internal storm flap provides extra protection in heavy rain and wind. Additionally, the coat has an improved fit with longer sleeves and better hood coverage compared to the first generation, and the waist and hood can be adjusted with a drawstring. When not in use, the Rainshield packs down into a compression sack, making it very easy to carry around for any wet weather emergencies.

Keeps me dry

Another awesome piece of kit from Artkis. Does what it's supposed to do. Worn it a few times in the rain and it's kept me dry. Light enough to bring on any trip and adds no bulk to the pack/suitcase. Can stow in a handy little bag thats included. The bag is not integrated like the stowaway shirt, but that's fine with me. Have gotten many compliments on the swedish m90.

Like water off a ducks back

I had the chance to actually put this to the test at a recent shooting match and it did as advertised. My torso and head stayed dry for the brief time water was falling from the sky. The front pockets are amazingly deep, deep enough to hold 2 FAL mags without any issue. I almost didn't bring the jacket because I only had the space in my bag for essentials. However, it rolls up small enough to fit, even when you don't think you'll have room (I am aware this is the rainshield coat and not the stowaway shirt, it still packs up small with no issues). Would recommend if these ever make it back to the website.

Lightweight and Pack-able rain protection.

Here's the skinny.

+ Light weight

+Pack-able

+ Irish DPM

+ extra roomy for layering or even a plate carrier underneath. (I'm 5'8" and 145lbs chose size M )

This rain jacket is sleek enough to look like streetware while still being extremely functional. I have yet to try it out in the rain since it's been stupidly dry as of late. but I'll update the review after I have tested it.
