Recommended Best Practices
- The LBS system is safety class 2 laser, that means pointing it in your eyes for more than 10 seconds will cause eye damage. Do not do this. Whether it's with the naked eye, though a binocular or telescope, or a mirror like surface.
- Make sure to remove the device from the weapon before any live fire. Negligent discharges right into your very nice and hard to find borelight is often catastrophic to the device, the weapon, the user, and human dignity.
- Do not store the device with the batteries still installed. The soft carrying case has two nice pouches for AA batteries to the left of the mandrel pouches.

Laser Borelight Assembly Models
Both versions of the Laser Borelight System where designated for different branches of the military. The 300 for the Army, the 050 for the Marine Corps. The only functional difference is the Army version (300) has an additional power mode that allows the user to boresight when NVGs are being used.
