Condition

These are expired CBRN canisters made by MSA. Originally, this filter (P/N 10046590) would allow for MSA respirators (or any other 40mm respirators) to gain NIOSH CBRN Standard (TC-14G-0254) by effectively removing harmful gasses, vapors and particulates so that the user can confidently breathe safely.

The sealed filters are expired so we can't guarantee these filters against chemical weapons due to oxidation of the internal filler. However, the P100 particulate filter is still good. Unlike the chemical warfare countermeasures the P100 component is just a HEPA filter. It doesn't stop working until you clog it with trapped particulate. In essence, this is just a heavier, cheaper P100 filter. With a bonus roll for chemical resistance.

Specs

  • Compatible with all respirators that accept 40mm style filters
  • For display or training purposes only

Condition

Canisters come sealed, in their original packaging or unsealed depending on which is chosen. May be expired from 2012-2022.

Still filters farts.

It’s visually undamaged, weighs next to nothing. Can’t speak about the activated carbon, it’s probably long used up, but it’ll filter dust and farts.

As advertised

Beautiful MSA NATO spec canister. Unsealed, so not the best for actual use but amazingly cheap for a display piece.
