Runs Narrow, otherwise Fantastic
Fantastic boot for the price point! I had an issue with a damaged pair and KommandoStore sorted it right away. Fair warning - they're pretty snug in the toes, especially for the wide-footed. But even adding on the cost of getting them stretched at a hockey skate shop, they were well worth the price.

Comfortable for what they are
Alright so I bought these on sale, and for the price I'm happy.
Pros: They fit very well. Reviews all say "true to size" for the most part, and they're right. I'm excited to see how these fare in the cold. Heavy enough to feel durable but not so much that they're tiring. The lacing hooks all the way up make easy on and off.
Cons: Small amount of water trickles in on top of the right boot, right where the "tongue" meets the upper, where the laces start. Decent water resistance otherwise. I'm sure a glob of some sealant will stop this once I find out exactly where this is. Left boot is completely water tight. Also, the heel of the right boot on the inside is worn through the leather. It's uncomfortable under long periods of wear. I will be buying shoe cups to try and prevent pain.
Would recommend, especially for the price I got them.

Fricken epic
Easily the best $60 I've spent on footwear. The boots feel rugged and high quality, I feel like if they were new and made by a popular brand they'd be $200 - $300. Mine came in excellent condition, basically zero wear on the sole and insole, seems like the last person to wear these wore them around the block and turned them in. They're in the mid calf range, and pieces of leather are sewn on both sides of the tongue to make the boot completely waterproof. Also they have metal rings for the laces which feel strong af but also just look cool. I don't usually review stuff I've bought but I'm doing it for these because they're amazing and for $60 I feel like I stole them... In a good way. Kommandostore slaps dummy hard

Good Heavy Boots
For ~$40 you can't do better, I ordered 'Good' grade and they're on pretty good shape. The uppers are broken in and pretty much intact, the insoles don't have any noticeable wear on them, and while the tread is somewhat worn it's nothing catastrophic and these are the sorts of boots you'd resole instead of replacing when they wear out anyway given how rock solid they are. I wound up going up a step in size (I have slightly narrow feet and usually wear a US 11, ordered an EU 45) and they fit perfectly with one pair of thick socks, and have plenty of support and cushion on your arches and ankles. Looking forward to clomping around this winter, these were probably the best fortyish bucks I've spent in a while.
