Austria's mountainous terrain forces their military to collaborate extensively with the hiking and outdoors industry. The Austrian mountain pant is one such collaboration and is essentially a military "trekking pant."

Looser and lighter than the standard-issue M75, the mountain issue pant is designed to allow nearly unrestricted movement in difficult terrain. Our batch comes from multiple manufacturers and is split between ripstop and non-ripstop models.

Both fabric options are comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying — the choice between them is largely aesthetic. The ripstop version is slightly thinner and has a visible "checkering" characteristic in its construction.

Condition

These pants have been checked for any tears, cuts, stains, or missing components. Pants may be missing up to 1 zipper pull tab on a cargo pocket. All zippers are fully functional

Good Fit Great Quality

Fits mostly good, too low and you don't get very good articulation in the knees, too high and it rides you butt so finding the sweet spot is going to be a priority

They’re roomy, they’re durable, they’re green*. I’ve been looking for good surplus pants for a while now and these are perfect.

Great pants, but not the best for me

This is a very comfy and durable set of pants that can be worn casually but my only problem is that it doesn’t fit me the best it’s still quite baggy on me but that’s my own problem nothing to do with the pants itself.
