Austria's mountainous terrain forces their military to collaborate extensively with the hiking and outdoors industry. The Austrian mountain pant is one such collaboration and is essentially a military "trekking pant."
Looser and lighter than the standard-issue M75, the mountain issue pant is designed to allow nearly unrestricted movement in difficult terrain. Our batch comes from multiple manufacturers and is split between ripstop and non-ripstop models.
Both fabric options are comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying — the choice between them is largely aesthetic. The ripstop version is slightly thinner and has a visible "checkering" characteristic in its construction.
Specs
- Two large-zippered cargo pockets with cover flaps
- Two front slash pockets
- Actual zipper fly
- Fabric is doubled at knees
- Built-in blousing ties at bottom of pant leg
- Fluent in German
Condition
These pants have been checked for any tears, cuts, stains, or missing components.

Awesome
Pros:
Super comfortable
Warm
Good storage space in cargo pockets
Look like normal work pants to most people
Seriously, these things are way more comfortable than the stuff I was issued in the Marines
Cons(kinda):
Zippers for cargo pockets and fly. Might be concerning to some.
No back pockets, whichbis just a little unusual.

Great pants
They fit perfectly and the ripstop material seems very durable. Maybe not the best for freezing temperatures (I imagine the cotton/poly material would make them warmer) but they breathe well and provide about as much warmth as a pair of jeans. There is just the right amount of room in the legs to allow complete range of motion without the pants being to baggy.

Excellent pants
These are excellent pants, as the title says. Flexible, tough, and comfortable. I’d take these over any modern pant for hiking and backpacking.

suitable for any condition
One of the most comfortable pairs of field pants I have purchased. Fit very well and are quite rugged. They have held up in the field a handful of times as well as hikes.

Solid Pants
Like the title, there pretty solid pants. The only thing that was Rough about them was one of the cloth pull tabs was damaged.
