Poor mans webbing.
Got this in a few weeks ago. Came used buy all items were in good condition. The most notable mentions on this piece is the mag pouches being wide enough to fit .308 magazines, the h-back harness, and the 6 points of contact that make this very comfortable and stable. For anyone interested in dipping their toes into webbing and lbe gear I would recommend this.
Do it. Now. Pull the trigger.
For the price this set cannot be beat. To start all of the gear was in acceptable condition one pouch and the frog were brand new, nothing was torn or frayed. I loaded this thing out along with 2 additional pouches I bought and it carries great even when running crouching or walking. This is without the optional shock cord attachment that runs across each pouch to further secure them. (not included easy to make your own).
To clean yours or any surplus gear soak in hot hot water and Dawn brand dish soap for a couple hours. Rinse thoroughly. Then do the same with about a 1/2 Cup white vinegar. Rinse well, set in the sun. Your gear will smell great. I'm also a tall guy at 6' 6" and it still can be adjusted fine to sit above the hips and cinched down to comfortably carry a full load. Im sure you could also find a way to upgrade the main buckle from plastic somehow as well.
It is also compatible with a surplus Alpine ruck or also called Bergen bag, I have the Dutch 80L in DPM.
This is an outstanding piece of gear at this price point with tons of space and possibilities. Mine shipped within a couple days of ordering and arrived on time.
All Brand new, came with all pouches pictured
Brand new condition

Solid customer service. Offered to replace any pouches that were damaged and unusable. Keep in mind that you are paying $50 for LBE, that I would argue is better than Alice.
Don't mind retards in the reviews saying how difficult it is to assemble. It's not hard, and quite secure. I really like it. Just keep in mind how the snaps are supposed to roll on.
Fabric is beat to shit. But there's lots of softening tricks like vinegar, vinegar/salt, etc. buckles for webbing straps might be rusted. Fasteners for the pouches might be broken, like the picture I included. Again, customer service will square you away. Love this company.
I was able to get another pouch for next to nothing off of eBay and now I have a poor man's Crossfire DZ. Very comfy, but I might look for a waste pad in the future if I ever load this bad boy down.
