They work in winter
These gloves look great, feel great, and preform great in cold weather while providing dexterity. They will not work with touch screens though.
Drop it like it’s hot… Is what we would be saying if we didn’t have the USMC issued FROG gloves. Durable enough to survive the perpetual crayon consumers, the FROG gloves are the ACOG of the glove world. Dexterous, durable and they just work.
'FROG' in this case means Flame Resistant Organizational Gear. During OIF/OEF, a lot of military garments ended up switching over to FR materials due to their wider availability and ease of integrating into combat uniforms. At first, there were layers that went underneath pre-existing combat uniforms, like masks, gloves, and undies. Eventually, it just made sense to make everything FR. And since the marines are special (interpret that how you want), they got a few special layering garments as well.
Whether you enjoy grasping a flaming hot gun barrel after mag dumping into trash or your mom cooks up some rather hot chicken tenders. The FROG glove’s leather palm and aramid stretch fabric will keep your precious digits safe and sound. They also won’t lose their fit or grip in any wet and wild beach excursions. The marines do spend quite a bit of time with the navy after all… (or don’t expect love without a glove)

I bought these as a spare pair since I already own a pair of CamelBak FROG Gloves, the NSN is the same so they're essentially the same thing. These make for a great pair of work gloves for whatever you're doing, the leather on the palm is thick and the texture makes them grippy. The aramid fabric is light and breathable, more than full-leather gloves, and is inherently fire-resistant so you can just wash them normally with water and soap. They also have a little loop you can use to store them on karabiner or a hook. I attached a picture of my CamelBak FROGs for comparison. Great gloves for a great price, don't be afraid to get em dirty.
Excellent fit! I have put the cut protection capabilities to the test, and the thicker pads work great. They are not too hot for outdoor work, as I expected.
