Great gloves, but that liner....
Gloves fit pretty well, but the liner was pretty dirty and ended up tearing on me so I ended up cutting them out. May end up cutting the fingers off for that MGS vibe!
Though many modern combat gloves offer you dexterity, grip, and durability, most lack in warmth and class. The jolly old English have every field covered with their MK2 Leather Combat Gloves.
Available in green and brown leather, these tough gloves feature warm, weather-resistant lining, adjustable wrist straps to lock in the heat and lock out the yuck, and convenient clips to keep the pair together or for your mom to pin them to your jacket.
Classy, comfortable, and well-constructed, these gloves have you covered whether you're fighting Fenians, Falklanders, or fatherlessness.

Gloves fit pretty well, but the liner was pretty dirty and ended up tearing on me so I ended up cutting them out. May end up cutting the fingers off for that MGS vibe!
Great gloves that came in rather good condition for their age! They're versatile enough to even comfortably use a handgun (some gloves have an issue fitting in the trigger guard depending on the gun), fit comfortably, and overall go pretty hard. They came pretty damn dirty, though, so WASH 'EM FIRST. Enjoy the P229 for demonstration.
So, I found the fingers to be a bit on the thin side, unfortunately.
Now, I'm no ham-handed burger grasping chungus, my fingers are of average size, and I found these gloves to be rather *compressive* and a bit tight. Perhaps they will stretch some after more use? They are reasonably warm, but not as dextrous as I would wish due to the tightness. Maybe order a size up for comfort?
These gloves are a rare find: remarkable craftsmanship at a price that feels like a miscalculation. In green leather, XXL. If you are a 6'8" giant like myself, they slip over your hands with an uncanny precision, like they were made just for you—a relic of another era rediscovered and repurposed.
The leather is soft but sturdy, the kind that whispers of durability and decades of service. Only the faintest marks betray their history, adding character rather than detracting from their quality. You wear them, and they conform to your hands like they’ve always been there, protecting, shielding, belonging.
The knit lining, however, is their cryptic flaw. Upon removal, it leaves a strange, dusty residue—a quiet reminder of their age, their origins, their life before they met you. Is it cleanable? Unclear. Perhaps this dust is their sacrifice, a token of their past. Perhaps it’s just a nuisance.
Still, you can’t help but marvel at their perfection despite the flaw. These gloves are built for giants, in size and purpose, and they deliver. Five stars. Dust and all.
I have medium hands long fingers medium palms. The gloves are nice. They fit good and snug. They have enough insulation in them. I'd give them good dexterity. I have yet to really use them. I want to take them hunting to see how they do.
