Similarly, when the MSA makes a gas mask, it’s a little blasphemous to refer to it by anything less than its proper, well-earned title. This is a Positive Pressure Full-Face Respirator, top of the line, peak of the summit - the crop has never been so creamed.
Built for breathing calmly in tense situations, MSA's Ultra Elite design has proven effective in search and rescue missions, confined space operations, riot control, firefighting, welding, sanding, asbestos removal, and counter terrorism.
Featuring a Hycar Rubber® or Silicone face piece, and a standard 40mm threaded respirator connection, this mask guarantees clear air, vision, and communication. A specialized airflow system keeps the distortion-free coated lens from misting, while the speech diaphragm allows unimpeded conversation.
The Ultra Elite is designed to be fully user serviceable, with a plentiful market of spare parts and simple instructions for maintenance. The design is also fully modular, compatible with standard cartridge filters, as well as SCBA and powered filtration systems. With adjustable, five-point harnesses, these are among the most comfortable and effective full face respirators on the market.
These masks are brand new in box. We have checked each one for quality assurance, but have not tested the masks. You would be well advised to read the Ultra Elite manual and follow MSA's inspection protocol prior to serious use of the mask.
