My First Gorka
First off, if you’re looking at a Gorka suit, you already know what a Gorka suit is, and you’re probably here to buy a Gorka suit. This was my first one, but I think I’m hooked.
Blue Jean Operator already did a good review of the KLMK pattern suit, which I assume is of similar construction (I plan to pick one up if they’re still around in a couple weeks), but I did want to go over a few things. In person, the pattern is a lot darker and looks more natural than it showed up on my monitor. I also wanted to point out that although the website says it’s a Poly-Cotton blend, the tags say 50/50 Nylon/Cotton, which is better.
If you’re on the fence about which size to buy, I will say the fit is pretty generous. I probably could’ve sized down, but it’s not too crazy since it’s meant to fit kind of loose. Fabric is also pretty thick, so probably not a great choice for summer if you’re in a temperate climate, but will probably be comfortable in spring/fall.
