Overall I am quite happy, I did however notice a small problem in that the leather inside the helmet has blackened a little bit. I am no expert, but in my experience leather turning black from age is typically not a good sign. However, most of the leather it is immaculate, its only on the thin part. And where it is immaculate, it is VERY comfy. Smoother than a baby's bottom, finer than a fresh shave, it is not something I can quite put into words. The leather feels as if it was put into a special process to insure that you cannot feel it irritate you. Some might say "Anon, this seems like a glowing review, why the 4 star? Must be a misclick." To that I say, sometimes I do misclick, but today is not one of them! In combination with the leather appearing to experience discoloration, it did not fit when it should have. This clearly is Ivan trying to say "Anon, you have a fat head!" and although it might be true that I have a fat head, I cannot help but laugh AND feel slightly insulted! I instead, gave this to my niece who indeed DOES have a fat head, but is only 3. Now she is protected from random shrapnel, broken glass and the occasional pistol round. If you have made it this far, you're probably asking "WHY WOULD YOU PUT YOUR NIECE IN SUCH SITUATIONS! SHE IS ONLY 3!!!!" To that I say, you can never begin battle drill #1A early enough in a child's life.
