Want the IOTV full coverage over-armor without the shame of wearing disgusting UCP? The Italian Mimetico Vegetata NC4-09 protective armor kit is just what you're looking for. Combining soft and hard armor, this modular system covers you neck to nards in classy Vegetata camo.

The NC4-09 armor system is fully customizable. Unlike older one-piece police over-armor, this system allows you to pick and choose how to best deploy your armor, whether you want to go fast and light with just a soft armor vest or go Juggernaut mode while protecting your dong with neck, shoulder, groin, and side protection with front, back, and side hard plates.

Although originally rated around NIJ IIIA (soft portions) and NIJ IV (HARD plates), SAFETY IS NOT GUARANTEED, and we are selling these for costume purposes only (time to start carb-maxxxing for your Fatman MGS2 cosplay). However, the hard plates are standard sizes, and could be swapped for new plates easily if you so choose.

Condition

Armor sets are in excellent condition, with no tears, rips, stains, or holes. Camo pattern may show very minor signs of wear. We cannot guarantee the function of the included ballistic panels, so the armor set is sold as costume purposes only.

Sizing

Sizing is similar to US military sizing.

In general, "Regular" will fit most users but those under 5'8" should pick "short" and those above 6'0" may want to consider "tall".

I’m having fun with it, great kit

Look, I know you shouldn’t trust this old armor with your life. I also have not had a bunch of time yet to get out and LARP in some fields and courses with it yet.

But you know what I do do (heh do do) with it? I LARP around my house like a boss when the wife is away and I feel awesome already.

Fits great probably should have gotten the “tall” version of it was a available (was sold out or never in when I found this gem) as my jewel bag slightly hangs close to the lower end of. the crotch attachment than I would like. That being said the vest and all other attachments fit well and all the stitches and fitting areas look great.

Slowly falling in love with this camo pattern for my area too so I hope they bring more green vegetata comp gear and clothes to the store.

Spaghet About It

Bought one for me, one for my dad. Both came in bags, and included all the gear shown plus rectangular ballistic skirt and two MOLLE pouches. Also, the level IV plates are ceramic, so this armor is much lighter than I anticipated. Very light wear on the plate carrier and light wear on the ceramic armor covering. Over all, extremely happy and very well worth the money.
