Police Trade-In Paca BII Level II Armor Panels
- Available
- Backordered, shipping soon
These are soft armor inserts from PACA protection (A subsidiary of Point Blank), ready to go in almost any BALCS style armor carrier on the market. They're 10 years old meaning they're about 5 years past their NIJ-certified expiration date but make for capable inserts you can either shoot for your own enjoyment or use at your own risk — we obviously can't guarantee these to the original NIJ specs, and not to any specs either, such is the nature of surplus.
What you are getting is a cheap way to stuff your armor carrier in a clone-correct way - the panels should fit in just about any BALCS-style carrier so you can get your early GWOT on or put the finishing touch on your Rainbow Six cosplay...
For those interested in learning more about the NIJ's rating system, these are level II, which can be read about more here.
Despite the lower rating, the panels are also insanely lightweight. The Paca panels clock in around 1.4 to 1.7lbs depending on size (smaller sizes weigh less). That means you can have Level II protection around your torso for about 3-3.5lbs.

Sizing
We've done our best to sort these out by size, but keep in mind that everyone has some wiggle room. Here's how to decipher your size:
The number in the size is the measurement around the widest part of your chest, and the letter represents the length sizes on the following scale:
S1 - R - L1 - L2
These all represent the literal lengths of the vest panel, which is usually measured in a sitting position from the clavicle to a half inch above an officer's duty belt. "S" is 14" and under, Regular is 14-15", Long is 16" and Extra long is 16"+
Condition
Armor panels remain in great condition, with no tears, cuts, holes, or fraying. Some panels still show signs of use.
All panels are past their expiration date, and thus are for costume purposes only.
