These coveralls were made for Dutch crews in the 43 Gemechaniseerde Brigade, and were made to be put in the hot seat during mechanized combat in the Koninklijke Landmacht's Leopard 2s.
Before their integration into the 1st Panzer Division of the German army, the Dutch got to sport some of the best coveralls we've now got our hands on — comfortable, warm, and a 95/5 Nomex/Para-Aramid (Euro version of DuPont's Kevlar) blend. This means you get unbeatable protection against tears and abrasions and FR capability, similar to that of an automotive racing suit. The construction is crucial for tank crews working on and operating their vehicles, and excels as a heavier mechanic's coverall.
If you're familiar with cutting-edge Nomex suits used for automotive racing, you're looking at a coverall with the exact same material properties, except its in sexy OD Green and takes way less out of your wallet.
They feature a unique double-zippered front that splits down to the legs for easy donning, plenty of pockets for tools and equipment, a deployable hood, and plenty of padding for the cramped interior of a tank. Additionally, it features elastic bands on the waist, wrist cuffs, and leg cuffs for a protective fit and a zippered fly between the two main zippers.
They're built like tanks for tanks, and in the condition they're in, you'd be hard-pressed to find coveralls this good even outside the surplus world.
As a standard disclaimer for all FR products, we are not responsible for any injuries or bodily harm that you get while wearing this. These are surplus so they are by no means guaranteed to perform as designed. Stay safe and stay smart around heat, fires, and electrical hazards.

Sizing
Sizing is measured with height in cm and chest size in cm. Take a tailor's tape measure and wrap it around your chest just below the armpits for the most accurate chest measurement.
Condition

Fits well, honestly pretty soft all things considered, had a pocket for smokes, and a zipper for 3am pisses
Now these are amazing if warn like a sexy mechanic - chest part down and tied around the waist- but as soon as you put the shirt part on you feel like middle school you - balls being squeezed and a wedgie 10 miles long (don’t get me started on what happens if you put the hood on) In the end, size guide is just a hair off so go a size bigger on the height measurement
We're sorry to hear the coveralls weren't an ideal fit. Please reach out to help@kommandostore.com if you'd like to send them back, and we'd be happy to issue a full refund.
Pretty tight in the crotch or maybe thats just me. Over all though, very comfy.
