As Described
Eagle Industries doesn't commonly dabble in complicated designs, but this one is interesting enough that it might interest fans of the MBITR/PRC-152, and fans of gucci camo.
This is a fold-down radio pouch, meaning it can fold away from the user in order to access the controls. Unlike other radio pouches where you'd need to actually dig out the radio and probably get all sorts of cables tangled up in the process, This allows you to keep the radio secure and not actually remove it from the pouch. Simply undo the velcro straps and top buckle, and the radio will fall forward. There is an attached bungee cord that will need to be removed to use this feature — all you need to do is untie a knot at one of the ends.
On the sides of the pouch are flaps with access holes for routing PTT cables or routing flexible antennas, and the inside has two large elastic loops for properly retaining the radio in folded-out position.
And now for the elephant in the room, the camo pattern. This comes in AOR1, a camo that's very very visually close to Desert MARPAT, but we've confirmed with the pouch's NSN and SKU that this is indeed the much rarer pattern. It's commonly seen use by SOF, and still sees some use on Navy SEALs to this day.
