Eagle Industries is one of the most prolific manufacturers when it comes to anything MOLLE. From pouches to plate carriers to packs, countless examples of their products have been fielded and abused by special forces such as Navy SEALs for decades, and many of their designs remain ever-relevant and currently deployed. They're prominently known for their no-bs pouch design that scraps gimmicks in favor for durability and no-nonsense usage, and it's for that reason that we like their stuff a lot.
This is one of their most common surplus'd pouches, the Smoke grenade pouch. It shares a nearly identical design to the double M4 Pouch with a few caveats — It doesn't have the redundant elastic to keep everything tight and it's a little too short for a 30 Round STANAG magazine (Although it will work decently with a 20 rounder instead). What it can be is another general purpose pouch in your growing arsenal of GP pouches. Or if you're really LARPing it up, it holds M-18 sized smoke grenades and flashbangs (for airsoft, of course...)
When these were being made, Eagle Industries used a thick strap-like nylon to make the flap for the pouches instead of a normal knit for extra rigidity when pulling up on the flap. It's a seriously robust system that will almost outlast the rest of the pouch with how beef'd up it is...
