The Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops (PASGT) was first introduced by the U.S. military in 1983, seeing widespread use through the early 2000s before declining with the adoption of more lightweight, well-armored, and communications-equipped models. For those two decades, it set a high watermark for ballistic defense. Originally also including a flak jacket vest, the PASGT system is now only issued in a derived form among the U.S. Navy and Army Reserve.

Gotta say that this helmet is good for the price. Even though it's out of date and style, I'm sure it can be brought into the modern age with mods and upgrades.

Very nice

The helmet itself is in pretty good shape, though some of the leather and rubber elements have hardened and cracked. The face shield is also a bit of a blurry mess due to a ton of scratches, but it's still super neat
