Hey! I saw that on Grailed!
Now a trademark of high fashion, the bomber jacket and its long lineage of spinoffs are a piece that have made nearly as much impact on fashion as the ever-stylish M65 jacket. This collared tanker's jacket is nothing short of a certified hood classic when it comes to military surplus. The ones we got our hands on are in excellent condition, too.
Issued to vehicle crewman (hence, C.V.C., combat vehicle crewman) for the cold, this fire retardant jacket is as functional as it is a staple of fashion. Featuring a permanent FR fabric construction (typically Aramid, Nomex, or No-Melt Nylon), and a super comfortable quilted lining, you could weld in the cold and not worry about a stray spark or ember ruining your cool bomber jacket or, y'know, your skin.
It comes complete with all the trademark monikers of a bomber jacket - elastic cuffs and lower hem, zippered shoulder pocket for pens or your favorite cancer sticks, a turn-down collar with hidden hook and loop flaps to secure in an upright position, and two front hook and loop-secured hand pockets.
