Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animals.
While much of our staff is on holiday break, save sitewide on all of our gear until the new year!
One of our longest standing traditions in stocking surplus is always having a tracksuit available. And like many surplus items it's getting harder and harder to scrounge up the stock, but we were elated when we found these fresh new-gen duds.
These new-wave polyester tracksuits look and definitely feel more modern and sportswear-like with a silky sheen that just wasn't present on the older models. The colorway is a little less garish to the eyes and if someone wasn't looking hard enough at the iron cross and "Bundeswehr" logo they'd be none the wiser that it isn't just one of the million Nike/Adidas clones out there.
The Bundeswehr took a look at the US army/navy/marines and noticed a plethora of highly reflective PT belts, probably laughed their butts off at how dorky it looked, and simply added reflective trim to the jacket & pants instead.
It's a classic full-collar zip-up jacket with a mesh drop-liner to keep you warm or promote airflow depending on the season. while techwear chads may think it's rather low-tech, it works. And back to the collar, it's ever so slightly padded to be as comfortable as possible when fully zipped on chilly morning runs — very nice. The elastic cuffs and hem keep things nice and trim and they didn't forgo hand pockets like many minimalist track jackets do.

Condition
Excellent condition jackets will show nearly no signs of use, and all letters and graphics are present on the jacket.
Good condition jackets show more signs of use, and some letters and graphics may be missing from the jacket (although from what we've seen, most are only missing a letter or two).
