“What in tarnation”

While still heavily influenced by their big brother in the east, the East Germans simply couldn’t help themselves but be German and say “what if we could make our uniforms more complicated for the lols?” So they adopted Strichtarn, contrasting to the dull & gray uniforms from over the wall. The now-iconic “rain” pattern was originally developed in Warsaw-Pact Poland, and became a highly proliferated camo in Czechoslovakia & Bulgaria as well.

While somewhat ineffective as a camouflage outside the Great Plains, (especially compared to DPM & Brushstroke patterns) Strichtarn can work extremely well as a high fashion urban surplus enjoyer camouflage. We guarantee no one will think you are smuggling a PKM in your Gucci bag when you are wearing these bad boys. Famously cheap and destroyable, these are some dank pants that will make you say danke schön to the worker’s party and simultaneously try to convince your friends that yes, a button fly is acceptable in this century.

Awesoem

I have a Strictarn field jacket so I had to cop these to match. Great pants great condition. The gloves are also a good buy but they are warm while the pants are not without the cold weather liner that isn’t found on KS. (I bought the gloves years ago when keep shooting had them 🤫)

East German Banger

These are considerably better than they get credit for. Most negative rumors come from a cold war bashing of all things eastern bloc, but not only are these things build well, despite their age, as a camo they work great. Reportedly work excellent against night vision, and you can find vids of them from brent0331 showing how well they work in multiple conditions. Kommandostore did well, no visible damage, top quality, sized correctly, which is often hard for german surplus. They are definitely more warn than some pairs of had, but that's definitely because they aren't making anymore of these, and age is definitely a surplus killer. Still, excellent surplus, excellent store
