NAR is well-renowned for making products that save lives — and quick access to those products is just as important as the products themselves.

The "CAT Holder" pouch is a way to both protect your North American Rescue Tourniquet from abrasion or exposure to the elements and have it available to you whenever you need it. Suited for plate carriers & belts, you can mount it horizontally or vertically to your preference with the MOLLE compatible strap or belt loop snaps.

The pouch's flap is easy to use in stressful situations. Simply grab the large pull tab underneath the "TQ" lettering and pull up to reveal the TQ and quickly extract. Elastic retention keeps the TQ secure even when upside down, and when properly staged both CAT 7s (which we highly recommend as your go-to TQ) or CAT 6s will fit perfectly.

Specs

  • Made in the USA by North American Rescue
  • Designed for CAT 7 and CAT 6 tourniquets
  • L 6.25" x W 1.75" x D 1.5"
  • Accommodates up to 1.5" Belts for horizontal mounting
  • Coyote Tan
  • Elastic top flap provides protection from the elements & rapid access in high-stress situations
  • Clearly marked "TQ" lettering makes it easy for teammates & others to access your Tourniquet in emergencies
  • MOLLE Compatible*

*While it is MOLLE compatible, some may notice that it's not a perfect fit when weaving through multiple rows of PALS webbing. Some users also opt to cut & remove the horizontal mounting straps if they don't want to use them, and that may improve fit onto MOLLE platforms if you don't plan on using it horizontally.

Condition Guide

Excellent

Pouches have no cosmetic issues, abrasions, or tears. Elastic functions perfectly and retains tourniquets without issue.

Good

Pouches may have slight cosmetic issues, abrasions, or discoloration that does not compromise the usage of the pouch. Elastic still functions as it should and retains tourniquets without any issue.

Pouch for TQ

Works great on any style equipment belt. New fangled MOLLE system not an absolute requirement to attach it.

A bit tight

Protects the tq well from the elements, the top closure is stretchy which is cool but the main shaft of it is a bit tight. Difficult to get the tourniquet in and out smoothly. Doing the boiling water method to stretch it out should solve the issue, though.
