I live in the six-color desert part of the country so I picked up two more small regs. Great price. '83 and '84 production DLA dates, one with nametape and one blank, all fabric and seams intact, no stank. Proper 50/50 nyco, not the weird poly-cotton of modern remakes. They have yokes and reinforced sleeves but do not have waist buttons. In sizing terms the S-Rs are 17" seam to seam for the shoulders and 21" pit to pit for the chest. I have one M-R that is 19.5" shoulders and 23.5" pit to pit. I am 5'10" 170 and the S-Rs fit well over a t-shirt.
If you don't think this pattern is the coolest shit I find you suspicious. Possibly european. Please ganbarimasu when it come to rolling the sleeves as tight and crispy as you can. Do not disappoint the anime figures in your room with slobby icky lumpy rolls unless you are E-7 or above. Please ignore the slobby icky lumpy rolls I have in the pictures and be better than me instead. These are the only clothes that I'm willing to break out the iron and starch for. If you do not have at least one DBDU in your closet you are dripless and out of uniform.
'Tism corner: There are variations across the '81-'91 production run of these uniforms. Some of the '90 date DBDU have a redder color than the normal pattern and some don't. Maybe someone will get one luck-of-the-draw so a picture is attached.
