Sizing will be in standard US letter sizes. Whatever size your favorite tee shirt is in will do — Europeans and Asians may want to go down a size because our size system is a little bigger here thanks to our diet of high fructose corn syrup, wonder bread, processed country fried steak, and Coke® products.

For Length Sizes, here's what we reccomend based on your height:

Short: 63-67 inches (160-170cm)

Regular: 67-71 inches (170-180cm)

Long: 71-75 inches (180-190cm)

Chocolate chip, also referred to as the DBDU or 6 color desert was America's shortest lived but maybe best-looking desert camo patterns of all time, and we have the garment you'll want it in.

The camo was actually developed in the deserts of California featuring a decidedly rusty & rocky pattern that resembles the look of unbaked cookie dough, hence "Chocolate Chip". US 3 color desert, known as "DCU" was being run at the same time and ended up out-living it. Known primarily for it's role in Operation Desert storm, it's become the more beloved brother of the two and stars prominently in the film "Jarhead".

The jacket itself is a timeless design that goes way back, but uses many of the elements of US M65, 4 big simple pockets, no extra gimmicks. It's 50/50 nylon cotton mix will feel familiar to all lovers of contemporary BDU shirts and it's stylish enough to be worn even when you're not watching "The Deer Hunter" with your bros for the 10th time (last time the tape was recorded over with something else).

Delicious, nutritious chocolate chip.

I live in the six-color desert part of the country so I picked up two more small regs. Great price. '83 and '84 production DLA dates, one with nametape and one blank, all fabric and seams intact, no stank. Proper 50/50 nyco, not the weird poly-cotton of modern remakes. They have yokes and reinforced sleeves but do not have waist buttons. In sizing terms the S-Rs are 17" seam to seam for the shoulders and 21" pit to pit for the chest. I have one M-R that is 19.5" shoulders and 23.5" pit to pit. I am 5'10" 170 and the S-Rs fit well over a t-shirt.

If you don't think this pattern is the coolest shit I find you suspicious. Possibly european. Please ganbarimasu when it come to rolling the sleeves as tight and crispy as you can. Do not disappoint the anime figures in your room with slobby icky lumpy rolls unless you are E-7 or above. Please ignore the slobby icky lumpy rolls I have in the pictures and be better than me instead. These are the only clothes that I'm willing to break out the iron and starch for. If you do not have at least one DBDU in your closet you are dripless and out of uniform.

'Tism corner: There are variations across the '81-'91 production run of these uniforms. Some of the '90 date DBDU have a redder color than the normal pattern and some don't. Maybe someone will get one luck-of-the-draw so a picture is attached. Likewise the waist buttons, my only one with them is a '90 100% cotton commercial run but if you wonder what they look like, there they are. I…
