Tropentarn is without a doubt the drippiest of desert camos, and any of the German bdus are a great choice. Great prices and quality gear.

A very well made field shirt. Construction is slightly different from the standard woodland pattern shirt, which I also own. The Tropentarn version has mesh pit vents, vs. a handful of stitched grommet holes on the woodland version. That’s a nice touch, definitely more air flow there. The fabric is somewhat lighter weight, but not significantly so, and there also isn’t a front zipper, just the snap closures. Mine came in like new condition. Get one while you can, ze Germans have switched to Multitarn exclusively from what I’ve read.
