Based on the venerable British Pattern 58 webbing, the South African Pattern 70 webbing was used during several regional conflicts in the horn of Africa, including the Rhodesian Bush War and the South African Border War. It is easy to see why this is the case, as Pat 70 was a modular, breathable system ideally suited to the climate and landscape of Southern Africa.

Featuring rock-hard canvas construction and magazine pouches attached to every possible surface, Pattern 70 was designed for "bad days." The system is optimized for durability and reliability from the canvas material to the redundant, heavy stitching and chunky, metal D-rings.

The Pattern 70 FAL Magazine pouches are sized to hold two 20rd FAL magazines with snap button access, perfect for any unauthorized cross border safaris.

SADF Pattern 70 FAL Mag Pouch

Ordered two in "great" condition. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Gotta say they really did build these things to last. Aside from some gummy residue on the front face of one pouch and a mild mildew odor from the other, they don't have any damage or blemishes whatsoever. Tough as nails kit and I'll definitely be using them regularly!

Solid Mag Pouch

These are well constructed and install easily onto the Pat 70 web belt or kidney webbing. They’re small, and definitely won’t fit a 30 round STANAG mag, but they will manage the 20 round box magazines for an AR just fine.
