The Bundeswehr breaks down all different heights and widths a healthy human body can obtain and assigns a number designation (Nr.Gr.) to each size.
For bottoms you need to measure your inseam and your waist. The inseam measurements for Bundeswehr items are derived from the height, so you don't necessarily need to measure your overall height like with the parkas and shirts.
We've found that the original Bundeswehr sizing runs about three cm small in height and inseam. For example, a pant with a Bundeswehr inseam of 75 will actually have an inseam of 73. With that in mind, find your waist size in the columns below, then match up your inseam with the rows to find your Gr. size!
