Sizing Notes

Our Jaeger chest rig is a one-size-fits-most rig with the exact same specifications as the original.

i.e., If the original SSO rig fits you, you'll fit in ours.

It features an adjustable waist that accommodates for 26-46" (66-117 cm) or the small end of XS to the large end of 2XL.

The 'yoke' of the rig is also highly adjustable to accommodate most heights. You'll want the rig to sit at your hips for optimal weight distribution and comfort.

Jaeger Magazine Pouches

All-Rounder Pouches

Featuring an internal plastic divider, the pouches are designed to hold 4 30-round AK magazines but works with a variety of platforms. Six AR-15 Magazines total fit comfortably and are easily retrieved using mag assists or ranger plates.

The internal divider is removable, making it a versatile way to carry more than just ammo — extra water, a radio, and more are right at home.

The pouches can be removed to run slick or swap with your favorite GP Pouches.

If you run them, The smaller pouches are perfect for boo-boo kits, compact Tourniquets, compasses & GPS units, and of course, your favorite throwable.

Spanish style shoulder harness buckles make quick-doffing extremely simple and intuitive to re-stage. metal hardware ensures this feature will practically never fail.

AKM-Style Magazines

As this is a clone of the Jaeger intended for the AKM platform, expect the classic 30-rounders for 7.62x39 chambered rifles to fit perfectly.

5.45 magazines of the 30-round variety will also fit.

Taller magazines such as the 40 round magazines intended for the RPK will exceed the available flap length on the pouches and may only be able to be ran open-top.

NATO/STANAG Magazines

AR-15 and other STANAG-styled magazines will fit comfortably, however, they may be difficult to access quickly due to the depth of the pouch itself.

You can add mag assists/ranger plates to each magazine or add a filler (foam or plastic wedge) to the bottom of the pouch to make your freedom filled STANAG mags work just as well as the commie mags.

Jaeger Chest Rig - first impressions/field test

*Please forgive my grammar, English is not my first language*

So, I will add my part, after field test. Long story short, I am non-ametican buyer, I found this rig as an alternative to original SSO Sposn Jaeger, which due to ongoing situation is almost impossible to get. I am from the 7,62x39 part of Europe, and thanks to glabalization, at my homeland is nearly impossible to find anything decent, which could hold the AK type 30 round mags. So I decide to give chance to Kommando store Jeager. And And after a field test, I can tell it was a good deal to take. Although far not that sturdy as the SSO original, the rig is very nice quality, far better than common commercial stuff you can get. I personally like the harness, which I consider better made than on original. Another great point are the molle grenade pouches, so you can remove them if needed, and replace with something different. The rig fits very well on body, nicely holds on place when running or crawling. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Only reason why I take off one star is the price, which I think, is a little bit too high for what you get on first place, a chestrig.

A decent choice.

Not too bulky or complicated and I thought that the note pouch was a nice addition. If you don't have flares handy, you can always use the flare pouches to store pepperettes, sausages, long chocolate bars and similar items. And if you don't like or have any use for the grenade pouches, you can always take them off and put something else on instead.

Great rig

Bulgarian mags fit kinda tight but Id rather more retention than less. I kinda wish the side panels molle had onnnnnee more eyelet column but it worked great regardless. If you got an AK this rig is what you need. Stitching , the metal links, everything feels high quality

First and probably only Jaeger I'm using

It's pretty comfy, comparable to my low vis rig I've been using as a range rig for when I go shooting. I use it for airsoft so my weight in the matter doesn't say much but it's been through 2 milsims and a handful of days where I was crawling through bushes. Thing still looks brand new
