This item is lovingly finished in Danish M84 (diet Flecktarn B). This camo pairs nicely with Flecktarn, MARPAT, and countless other woodland patterns. M84 was created by reducing the number of colors in Flecktarn B while retaining the disruption pattern, choosing three shades which especially suited the Danish woodlands (and US coniferous forests). This results in a versatile woodland pattern with bonus hipster points.

The M84 Hardshell Pants are meant to be worn as an "overlayer". If you plan on wearing these in conjunction with any amount of layers, we'd recommend going with your usual pant size. If you plan on wearing the pants with one thin layer, consider going down one pant size.
Condition
Hardshell pants are in excellent to unissued condition. May show minor signs of wear at most.
Danish M84 Waterproof Hardshell Pants
These Danish trousers are really great and proved their worth during last week’s 10 in. of rain here. They go on over your regular trousers easily and use hook and pile to close/adjust. It’s a little noisy but if hush-hush isn’t a consideration then you’re golden. Keep in mind they’re designed to be over sized. 10/10.
The pants are in perfect condition and the color and pattern are crisp and were stored well. My issue comes from the construction of the pants. The only way to close them at the fly region is velcro and mine arrived with random fluff and old strings and warehouse fluff stuck in the male velcro end. I spent maybe ten minutes cleaning out the male velcro so it would stick better but tbh it just doesn't work well. They are true to size and fit me perfectly but the velcro combined with the elastic waist system just won't hold up to rigorous physical activity. This is a bad pants design, not on the sellers. If you want something cool looking for airsoft or paintball or an impression kit these will do the job, but they are not suited for long term high intensity physical activity. Performance wise I'd only give these pants two stars, but from a collector standpoint I'd give them a four because they came in immaculate condition. Just don't expect them to serve you well as a second pants layer. I'd go for arktis or adventure tech for my next pair of second pants. I'd even rather buy a pair of desert night pants again over these. Only buy these if you are a camo nerd

The pants is as-advertised. It was a little tight getting on but the elastic waistband is amazing and I got full range of motion with no tension and fits perfectly (I have a 34W).
Second thing of note is the progression of dark shading in the pattern as the pieces get younger. The pants I have were made in 1999 (on the left) and are clearly lighter than both the boonie hat (prod. 2010) and this parka from 2008 I got from Americana Pipedream (on the right). The hat is much darker than the parka and is much more vibrant in color but that may be due to the softer material of the hat. The green in the boonie is much closer to British DPM green, the pants are closer to AOR2 or one of the light frog skin camos. The parka is in-between with a slightly duller tone closer to olive drab shade like an Austrian uniform (for the main green base at least). Just thought I’d point this out if this camo ever makes another appearance on K-Store and I hope it does.
(The color saturation in my photo is pretty severe, this pattern is extremely vibrant just like the display image and if you ever larp with a full kit you definitely need face paint or skrim)
