Another Eagle Industries product that practically re-wrote the book on overt "rolling heavy" armor setups, the Multi-mission armor carrier is still one of the most well-respected options on the market.
Being a more traditional profile, it's not suited to users who want a more "slick" or concealable plate carrier. What it excels at is modularity and scalability. It features every loop you'd ever want for cable routing, plenty of PALS webbing all around it's exterior for attaching more pouches, and an overall well-thought-out construction that doesn't get too busy.
Out of the box, it has everything you need to carry ammo and armor, something surprisingly absent from a few popular options on the market. No obsessing over extra cummerbunds, comes complete with a kangaroo pouch built in, cummerbund pouches for add-on armor and a radio, and a built in admin pouch. It's ready to customize it to your needs without extra purchases — something we really appreciate about EI's products.
Variants
Unpadded Shoulder Straps: These carriers ship without shoulder straps. A good option if you already have a specific strap system you're looking to use with your carrier.
Standard Shoulder Straps: These carriers ship with the standard MMAC shoulder straps. A turn-key carrier set up.
Maritime Shoulder Straps and Groin Protector: These carriers ship with the more elusive "Maritime" MMAC shoulder straps which feature more padding than the Standard Shoulder straps, and loops on the top for cable routing or catridges. This variant also features the Eagle Industries Groin Protector which can fit standard soft groin kevlar inserts.
AERO: By far the rarest version of the MMAC carrier. If there's any carrier that should have "KAG DEVGRU Delta NSW RECCE" keyword spam thrown on there, it's this one. The AERO features extra plate padding to keep the user comfortable, and a velcro plus single molle row system of securing placards. Conveniently, this method of securing placards is nearly identical to Crye's JPC, SPC, and AVS system which means Crye placards are able to be used with the MMAC AERO.
