Kommandostore Gorka K2s are constructed using Polycotton Ripstop fabric, which differs from many Gorkas on the market, and require a different care routine when cleaning is necessary.
Original Gorkas typically featured a high waist and single-seam crotch. It performed as good as it looked — like a potato sack.
We added an extra large diamond shape gusset that goes down to the knee, and lowered the rise to sit comfortably below the navel for a contemporary, high-mobility fit.
It looks and feels good even in the deepest slav squats.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Gorkas had an excellent original suspender design, but we upgraded the materials significantly with modern elastic and ripstop.
It retains it's original function with superb support and stays out of the way of your chest for all day comfort.
The waistband is incredibly stretchy. Even when you add or remove layers, your pants will accommodate.
We've also added extra elastic cuffs in the lower leg to remove snag hazards while retaining mobility.
Lastly, we've added leg stirrups and an inner gaiter seen in other types of Gorkas to keep the pant legs uniform around your footwear.
Large & Flexible TPU buttons mounted slot-style on the fly & pockets are practically unbreakable.
Thanks to their mounting, they're less prone to snapping off, and have the ability to slide up and down for even more flexibility.
Pockets feature flaps with covered buttons to stay snag free.
The K2 trousers did get a zipper fly after many requests but still feature upgraded slot-mounted TPU buttons at the top of the fly for long-term durability.
The belt loops are all 2", reinforced with ample bar-tacking to handle heavy belts & two-piece shooter's belts.
We've reworked the seam structure and size of the hood to accommodate a full range of motion.
It twists along with your head, and easily adjusts to your head using two shock cords.
The brim on Original Gorkas was flimsy, so we stiffened it to work as it should.

We used "Slot Style" mounting so they are less prone to snapping off, and have the ability to slide up and down for even more flexibility.
Our jacket also features a dual heavy duty luggage zipper.
Two bands of elastic at the forearms slims down the jacket without restricting movement.
Shock cord adjustments at the waist and torso refine your fit even further, unlike the original Gorka's single drawstring waist.
Shock cord at the waist is kept out of the way with a keeper, ensuring you stay snag free.
The bicep pockets now feature a surface to place your favorite velcro patches.
Under-arm mesh venting keeps you cool in changing weather conditions.
Ripstop does as the name implies — It stops rips & tears dead in their tracks.
It's grid pattern aids in keeping damage contained, makes field repairs easier and greatly increases longevity of the suits.
Our DWR coated Nylon and Cotton blend is a massive upgrade from the original waxed canvas Gorka.
TPU Hardware doesn't crack or shatter like traditional plastic buttons, and won't wear out over time like a metal snap.
Thermoplastic Poly-Urethane resists abrasion, shock, oils & grease, while remaining soft and pliable.
Our high quality slotted buttons are made to order by a leading military supplier in Europe.
We use a high-strength bonded nylon to stitch the suit together.
"Bonded" describes the process of chemically treating the twisted yarn prior to it's final "winding", resulting in high UV, Abrasion, and mildew resistance.
This thread is commonly used in heavy-duty applications like luggage, and improves seam strength and abrasion resistance.

The perfect camo and suit for soviet larping as the OPFOR for my local AF security forces training exercises. they always expect the multicam, never did the see the slav squatter in the corner ambush.

.... to use Gorka K2 KLMKsuit, actually trousers daily basis. 😁 Well, it happened. Because Gorka is:
a) Comfotable (to use)
b) Well made
c) F*****g cool, nasty, nostalgic and sexy camo pattern.
Because early spring (April) can be pretty fraudulent by weather conditions here in Finland, I've used that Sasha Jacket combo as midlayer and softshell jacket as outer layer.
Well, my old friend and former colleague just said: Do not use that suit here in Eastern Finland,.. 😁😂 Because I'll might get shot by local Hunter, reservists, Army, Border Guard or Police because of VFR VDV. 😜
He has green Gorka and he doesn't dare to use it also.😁
Must say that Gorka K2 KLMK trousers and Sarajevo84 Sasha Jacket are pretty cool combo too.😉🤘🏻

I find the suit to be comfortable and durable. The material, stitching, and hardward seem durable. The ripstock canvas is light enough for summer work and if used with layers it should be warm enough for winter. I have an original Russian onsey in this camo and the Kommando Store Gorka surpasses it. Get it and you will look pretty good when the fit hits the shan.

I'm dripped out for real i tell you hwat, jokes aside the whole thing is pretty comfy and it fits just right, I never had fittting issues with the normal russian canvas gorkas(I got the one with the big center chest pocket and no Velcro patches) but that's because I can read and got the right size, this stuff is better in every way, easy to adjust too depending on how you are using the jacket and what not.
Goes hard with Adidas sneakers or my limited edition shrek crocs
Now, please, make a repro of those weird hideous facemasks that came with the original Soviet KLMK suits you know what I mean, i lost mine

Though I got the 6'2 height jacket, it still fits good and loose enough to not overheat.
