Ivan Says: Double Check The Sizing Chart!
Consult size chart before ordering. We went with a much wider toe-box than originals for comfort, and most people end up sizing down. We offer complete measurements of the boot you can reference in the size chart.

Sizing
For the foot-size conscious, we're doing things a little differently - by providing exact measurements of the inside of the boot. In general, keep in mind you may want to go a half size to a full size down due to the last's length and width.
Measure all of the following with Millimeters. Vee Do Not Uze Ze Inchez In GERMANY!

The main 3 measurements are Last length, last width, and last girth at the widest part of your foot ("ball girth". Don't worry, we giggle every time, too). Most people won't have to worry about "Waist" or "Instep" Girth.
For length and width, the best method is to trace your foot with the socks you plan to wear on, standing on a piece of paper to derive length and width.
For length, measure from heel to toe in a straight line in millimeters from end to end (not diagonally) You'll want to add at least 5 and up to 12mm to your length measurement. more toe room, more room for expansion throughout the day depending on your activity level.
For width simply measure the widest part of your foot, slightly diagonally.
Keep in mind - Your feet typically expand a couple millimeters just from standing on them all day, and socks make a difference too!
Girth around the "ball" of the foot is another important measurement as it's the most common area of irritation for shoes that don't fit right. take a measuring tape (or string if you don't have one) and measure around the widest part of your foot.
You should have all the measurements you need to buy the correct size after those steps.
But for even more advanced feet-havers, we provide two more girth measurements, at the "Waist" and "Instep". The instep is (generally) the area that the laces will rest on top of the foot before the ankle, and the "waist" is between the ball and instep. By no means a necessary measurement, but can help for people who know they have unusually tall feet.

Product Details & Guides
Inspired by the unmistakable silhouette of the GSG 9's favorite boots, our KS Sport spin on a pre-millennium classic is the perfect urban warfare boot.
Prior to the 80s, many special forces had a problem - their footwear couldn't keep up. With antiquated world-war-II thinking only barely starting to improve, many units came to the realization that something a lot more tennis-shoe like but with the durability of a boot was needed. So, after the GSG 9 was founded following the Munich massacre, they too asked similar questions.
A certain three-striped footwear Juggernaut came into play, and it only made sense. A German company should be more than happy to make boots for the GSG 9 and they sure were. The boots were sleek, stylish, professional, and anything but the old standard-issue marching boots of yore. They featured a low drop & sneaker like feels and became an instant hit. Word got around, and people from other militaries clambered to get their own.
They'd be seen on famous photos of Navy SEAL VBSS units training on ships, SWAT team members all the way back in the states, and even in helicopters above Mogadishu. But the OGs, the GSG 9, got the namesake and the fame of the original boots.
Of course, nothing's perfect. The sole construction left a little to be desired and wore down quickly with use, and a large section of the upper was pleather. Lastly, for reasons we still don't fully comprehend, European shoes and boots run pretty narrow - presumably for Scandinavian elven DNA, but we're not quite sure for who else.
We were dying to make these, because the used market is dead, and even if you get them, they're anything but combat ready after 20 years of sitting on the shelf.
Starting with custom lasts, we greatly expanded the toe-box to be a much more "modern fit" following our feet's desire for more room and the footwear industry slowly gravitating to more anatomical shoes.
We then scrapped the pleather and went 100% full grain cowhide for the construction. This'll guarantee easy maintenance and durability for far longer than the originals. It's paired with the strongest adhesive we could find for the outsole, so it doesn't fail like the original glue-downs did.
Finally, we gave it a few design upgrades. we expanded the footprint of the suede anti-scuff toe cap, our signature quadruple-mockba-stripes, and a donning assist with a large pull tab on the back of the boot upper.
It's the sleek styling of the original, backed by a long history of special forces pedigree, now in a form you can actually buy and wear without treating it like a collector's item.

The lasts we went with are completely original to our boots - the result is a wide, anatomical fit that feels effortlessly comfortable all day long.
Full Leather Upper
While the original cut corners with vinyl/pleather in particular areas, our boot is constructed completely with full grain leather from the sole up.
A big gripe about a lot of tall, stiff leather boots is getting them on and off.
Ours features a robust, reinforced pull tab to greatly assist in donning and doffing, without being large enough to be a snag hazard or weak enough to be "just for show".
We made sure not to dabble too much in the looks of the GSG 9 spec originals, but we mixed in a few extra details to make them "what they could have been".
The Boots silhouette remains true to originals, but with a greater emphasis on everyday durability & comfort.
The toe cap features suede around a large portion of the boot for scuff resistance and an extra layer of protection on the toe of the boot.
Like originals, the CT boots feature a relatively low drop, sneaker-like outsole with moderately sized lugs. Originally designed for urban warfare, they strike a balance between grip and athleticism you'll love.
They're The Bomb.
We don't make repro to be "costume pieces" or "collectibles" The KS Sport CT boots can be your go-to whether you're looking for a durability upgrade from originals (which, due to age, are all falling apart now) or you want a combat boot with the comfort of a pair of sneakers.
It's everything you love about the retro originals, brought back without the "rare" price tag or the overly narrow fit.

Thwarting Terror Since '72: The GSG 9
Learn the astonishing story of the founding of the GSG 9 Bundespolizei, and how their gear R&D made a pair of boots sought-after by the greatest special forces groups in history...

Terror on the Airline
The 70s, and 80s brought the titanic rise of common commercial air travel. Unfortunately, it also brought the rise of aircraft crime & terrorism.
Famous high-profile cases like D.B. Cooper's heist stateside as well as many in Europe occured throughout the 70s but they certainly weren't the first.
Back in 1968, an EL AL flight to Tel Aviv was highjacked by two members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, armed with a pistol and unpinned grenade. For five weeks, they held everyone on board hostage until they were exchanged for 16 convicted Arabs.
This was widely regarded as the beginning of a new era - one rife with hijackings, kidnapping, and terrorist bombings across the globe.

Insurgency: Global Offensive
"The Troubles", which occured from the late 60s to the late 90s, had Great Britain clashing with IRA Insurgents attempting to re-draw national borders and even staging assassination attempts on the Prime Minster.
Back in America, the Marxist Weather Underground Organization was bombing US government buildings in protest of the Vietnam War.
Back in Palestine, another group, "Black September", was a militant faction in the PLO that would carry out a high-profile assassination of their own, and perpetrate the Munich Massacre.
Adapt, Adapt, Adapt
As every special forces unit did leading up to the new millennium, the gear they used rapidly changed through the decades.
New weapon platforms, armor, and everything on their uniform down to their boots.
It's a common story amongst the elite special forces of the world, whether they're spetsnaz or South African recces, a more agile boot came to fruition.
The GSG 9 worked directly with German Juggernaut Adidas to make, uncreatively-named, the GSG 9 boots. They were universally a hit with sneaker-like agility, and word spread to other special forces too.
They were hard to get outside of Europe, but Delta Dudes & Savvy SEALs had their ways, so did a few american SWAT units. In short, they became the "it" boot of combating terrorism.

Our Boots - A Collectible No More
Adidas stopped making this style of boot in the early 2000s (minus a one-off collab or two), and worse yet, updated it to look like every other "Modern" tactical-bro boot on the market.
The surviving pairs can't be worn even if you managed to find your own (which we did). The foamy material in the soles wasn't built for literal decades of use, and neither was the adhesive that literally held the outsole to the boot. Shell out the dough for the "real ones" and you get something that'll just fall apart.
They even had a bit of a reputation for doing that when they were new, but no piece of footwear lasts forever, right?
When we made our tweaks, we made sure to keep that original, iconic silhouette dotted all over photos from the 80s & 90s, but with a modern fit & upgraded materials that'd last longer than a few rappelling trips onto an aircraft carrier...
