These are new production, second generation styled 2L SADF Waterbottels (this the correct Afrikaans spelling don't @ us) made with the original molds. Now you can have all the functionality of the original with modern BPA-free plastics.

Useful for SADF LARPing or just backcountry hiking and camping in general. It’s always nice to have a more tetris-a-ble water container than your typical 32oz Nalgene bottle. And of course, it has plenty of real estate for all your favorite anime stickers, no judgment here senpai.

Please note: as these are based off of original molds, there is an incredibly small (0.2%, according to reports from customers) chance that it develops a leak. If that is the case, we will replace your bottle free of charge.

great value and capacity

They fit both my p83 battle jacket and Nixieworks LFR amazing. One of the two I ordered has a very sliiiiight cap leak I discovered after I took off my kit and it was laying on its' side for a while. Easy fix tho 👌

Be careful with the stem!

Great canteen! Thankfully doesn't have a smell or taste to it like most others do. The only issue that I had is, after about a month of use, the stem that keeps the cap attached to the canteen cracked and had to be taped back together. Other than that, it's great, would recommend it.

2 will fit in an US MRE pouch

Those Molle 2 sustainment pouches you have on your plastic frame rucksack will each hold 2 of these bad boys. Meaning you can easily ruck 8L of delicious life saving liquid refreshment just by throwing 2 of these on each side. Some plastic flash was present on mine. Trim it down with your knife and it will be fine. Tested both and found no leaks. A little wash and the water tastes as good as any plastic water bottle will. I have to order another double pack now .
