Allah force ones, Air Jihads. The kicks go by many names.
Here's how to make these the best damn pair of kicks you have owned. One, those slim souls? Rip those jawns out. Replace em with something that works on your foot. The arches feel too high for maybe a couple of days; either my foot changed, or the shoe changed. Take your pick. I ran into an Old timer at a surplus who recognized the Steppas, he gave me American flags for the laces. Now you might wonder how well they handle out in the woods? Well, they are amazing for rocks and climbing odd terrain, BUT they suck ass on loose dirt at a steep angle; they had me looking like a White woman doing Pilates, trying to balance as I did not want to bust my ass as I slid a bit. However, I also had a sandwich in one hand and did not fall. Overall took some getting used to, but they got me through some sketchy terrain and across a small river, hopping from rock to rock to not step in the water. One thing is the sides of my feet hurt slightly in the beginning, but break em in and don't be a wuss.
